Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Semina provides managed seedbox hosting — remote torrent client instances running on our infrastructure. We give you a dedicated environment with allocated storage, bandwidth, and a web-based interface to manage your torrents.

2. Account Terms

You must be at least 18 years old to use Semina. Each person may only hold one account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Semina to:

• Store or distribute illegal content of any kind
• Distribute copyrighted material without proper authorisation
• Abuse network resources (e.g. excessive bandwidth consumption beyond your plan limits, running non-torrent services)
• Attack, scan, or probe other systems from your seedbox
• Resell or share your seedbox access with others

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without prior notice if the violation is severe.

4. Payment and Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Your plan auto-renews at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — your seedbox remains active until the end of the current billing period.

We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you upgrade or downgrade mid-cycle, the change takes effect at the next billing date.

5. Service Level

We aim for high availability but provide the service on a best-effort basis. We do not currently offer a formal SLA or uptime guarantee. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance via email or dashboard notification.

6. Data and Storage

Your files are stored on the allocated storage for your plan. We do not back up user data by default. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups. If your seedbox is terminated or your storage fails, we cannot recover your files.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. For non-payment, there is a 7-day grace period before your data is deleted. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and requesting account deletion.

8. Limitation of Liability

Semina is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for data loss, connection issues, downtime, or any damages arising from your use of the service. We are not responsible for third-party content stored on or transferred through your seedbox.

9. DMCA Compliance

We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). When we receive a valid takedown notice, we forward it to the account holder. We operate a three-strike policy for repeat infringement. See our DMCA Policy for full details.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
